01 - Digital gallery
This is a completely virtual exhibition hall used to display some of the works I studied and photographed when I was an undergraduate. Due to the COVID-19, virtual exhibition halls have become more and more popular in these two years, which has made me very interested in it. Therefore, I used some inspiration to design a virtual exhibition hall that belongs to me.
Some rendered scene pictures, the overall scene and the photos inside are all my personal creations.
OUTCOMES
Perhaps due to the overall color and the influence of the glass material, there is still strong noise even if the noise reduction is turned up. This is still a problem that I need to learn and solve.
storyboard
For the final video, I drew a storyboard, including settings such as angles and camera movements.
It is divided into six shots corresponding to five areas.
These are part of the white mold and all the textures used. Other decorations such as stained glass, TV stand and square pyramid in the middle are all options that come with Maya. Similarly, I hope to use more light to make the space more interesting, so I use white as a unified color for the walls, which just makes the texture slightly different.

details
This is one of the more interesting experiments I think I did while creating this project. In order to make the central square pyramid have a glass texture and also reflect rainbow-like refraction, I tried adjusting different values. Finally, four values were finalized in the IOR and the one with an IOR value of 1.03 was finally decided.

render
This is the effect rendered at three different values. They are the original, changing samping and changing adaptive samping values.

My entire design is inspired by these four works:
Austin --- Ellsworth Kelly
Digital architecture photo --- Per Carlsen
Beauty --- Wojciech BÄ…kowski
Pyramide du Louvre --- Ieoh Ming Pei
